Transformers: Prime (2010–2013) is still the design language a lot of Indian fans mean when they say “cartoon Optimus”: long legs, heavy truck-armor shoulders, a faceplate that reads as noble instead of movie-grim. Hasbro’s Studio Series and Legacy lines chase live-action. Blokees’ Action Edition 06 chases TFP — and it does it as a 7-inch snap-fit kit with LED eyes and a Matrix in the chest, not a $150 three-mode Voyager.
This is the bigger brother of Champion Class. Action Edition is aimed at people who will spend an evening on the build and then leave him posed on a shelf. In India the kit sits in the same collector bracket as Blokees’ other large TFs, without needing glue or an airbrush.
The box is roughly 328 parts. Plan on two to three hours. Armor is color-separated over an inner frame, which is why the joints stay tight after you hang the Star Saber on one arm. Double-jointed elbows are advertised around 160° — that is the difference between a “gunpla that stands” and a figure you can actually photograph mid-slash.
LED eyes. A magnetic / touch trigger lights the optics Autobot blue. It is a gimmick, but it is the gimmick TFP fans actually want, and it is usually reserved for third-party figures at three times the price.
Matrix of Leadership. The chest opens. The Matrix is a separate golden piece, and on AE06 it lights. Close the panels and he reads as a finished statue; open them for a display-base shot.
Weapons. Dual forearm cannons, extra hands, and two Star Sabers — one opaque metallic, one translucent Energon blue. That second saber is the one that shows up in every product photo for a reason.
Blokees also sells a smaller Champion Class 26 Optimus Prime (movie / Bumblebee-adjacent styling, ~6 inch). AE06 is the TFP one: taller, more parts, lights, Matrix. If you only want “an Optimus that stands next to CC Bumblebee,” get CC26. If you grew up on the Hub cartoon, AE06 is the one that looks like the show.
Official Blokees, imported. Stock moves in waves; when Playlane lists it, quantities are not infinite. Pair him with other Action Edition or large Champion Class Autobots if you care about a level shelf — Defender minis will look like Mini-Cons next to this.
